Acu-yoga, as the name implies, combines traditional yoga with acupressure to allow energy to flow naturally through the body’s meridians. Acu-yoga poses were designed specifically to isolate and stimulate certain muscle areas and organs within the body. Acu-yoga also occasionally makes use of devices designed to use the body’s weight on an object, to apply directed pressure to certain points.
