Ashiatsu is a form of massage therapy that is said to have originated with Buddhist monks. It is related to traditional Shiatsu massage, in that it uses the same principles of pressure applied to points of the body. Ashiatsu differs from Shiatsu massage by primarily using the feet to apply the required pressure.
