Canine Massage (See also Animal and Pet Massage) is a form of massage specifically geared toward the health needs of dogs. Canine Massage therapists are trained in the unique skeletal and muscular structure of canine physiology. Canine Massage practitioners are also taught to identify breed-specific needs in an environment where communication is non-verbal. Massage therapy for dogs is increasingly gaining popularity as more ailments are being successfully treated.

Canine Massage therapy has been shown to be effective in treating such afflictions as; arthritis, internal organ dysfunction, muscle injuries, allergies, depression, anxiety, reproductive issues and joint, tendon or ligament pain, among others.
