Fibromyalgia is a musculoskeletal condition characterized by chronic and widespread pain in the joints, muscles, tendons and soft tissues of sufferers. Fibromyalgia can also bring about fatigue, sleep problems, headaches and numbness in extremities. Some sufferers of Fibromyalgia report cycles of pain that decrease during the day and return at night. Treatments for Fibromyalgia depend upon the severity of the symptoms and can include; diet, physical therapy, massage, supplemental nutrients and counseling.
