Hot Stone Therapy treatments vary in their application, but all involve the use of smooth river stones that have been sterilized and heated to around 120 degrees. Hot Stone Therapy has roots in ancient Chinese and Japanese cultures, as well as Native American and Aboriginal Australian traditions. Also known as Hahana stone massage, this form of therapy has been used in medicinal, therapeutic and ritualistic practices.
