Deep Tissue Integration in Arlington, Arizona
Deep Tissue Integration is a system that addresses the long-term patterns of resistance in the connective tissues of the body. Deep Tissue Integration attempts to readjust the body through myofascial release. Through a series of eight to ten sessions, the therapist will assess postural positioning and work on a patient’s body using hands, arms and elbows to adjust connective and muscle tissue. Deep Tissue Integration helps to strengthen muscles, relax the body and release the natural restrictions that develop in our bodies over time.
While not a relaxation type of therapy, many recipients of Deep Tissue Integration therapy leave feeling relaxed and “lighter”. Deep Tissue Integration can help to relieve tension, alleviate chronic pain, improve posture and even avoid some surgical procedures. (See also Structural Integration)
